HIROSHIMA
DAY VIGIL 2007
Organized by Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance
The Oak Ridge Enviromental Peace Alliance (OREPA)
annually conducts a vigil on the anniversary of the date the U.S.
dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima (Aug. 6, 1945) as well as on
Nagasaki a few days later. The vigil this year was conducted at
Building Y-12, where the bomb, called "Little Boy," was conceived and
manufactured. As in the past, the Oak Ridge, Tennessee's atomic weapons
plant security forces were present in numbers nearby.

documentary by Wes Rehberg of the vigil in a viewable or downloadable
mp4 format. It was originally filmed in high-definition format and will
be available shortly in standard definition DVD.
